NIA Parent Education Services
NIA will be conducting a series of parent workshops throughout the year at our main office location. Our workshops are structured to provide parents with information on specific topics that aim to teach the skills of emotionally healthy parenting. Parents will become familiar with the use of helpful tips and tools which are consistent with meeting their children's and family's needs as well as with the practical information which leads to the effective use of these skills.
The workshops give up-to-date quality information on positive parenting methods that really work. There are opportunities for parents to share their stories and hear other parents' perspectives as well as to gain an understanding about the principles and skills related to the workshop topic.
- Parent Education workshops are available covering the following topics:
- Family Literacy.
- Making Math Fun.
- Helping Your Child with Homework.
- Parent Education workshops are adapted to your school’s specific needs and objectives.
- Workshop facilitators plan with you and present at your school, on your schedule.
