NIA Joins In Saluting Ships During Fleet Week Celebration at Fort Hamilton

On May 20, 2009, NIA CEO Mary Anne Cino and Executive Director Rosa Casella joined with community leaders to celebrate the kick-off of Fleet Week at historic Fort Hamilton Army Base.

Seventeen gun salutes greeted the USS Vella Gulf and the USS Roosevelt as they passed beneath the majestic Verranzano Narrows Bridge.
