Students Get School Supplies from NIA

The NIA handed out school supplies and book bags to needy children at five local Brooklyn schools that they run after school programs in.

The students at P.S. 186, P.S. 229, P.S. 247, I.S. 227, and I.S. 281 received notebooks, pens, rulers and other essential school supplies as well as a book bag sporting the NIA logo. “The students were thrilled to get the supplies,” said NIA After School Site Coordinator at Intermediate School 281 Susan Czarnecki. “They especially liked the NIA book bags” said Ms. Czarnecki.
