Engaging Youth Workers
We engage youth workers to address their developmental tasks and personal interests, help develop their workforce skills, offer opportunities for leadership and service to others, and bring youth input, making our programs more relevant.
Collaborative, project-based learning opportunities allow students and workers to actively engage one another, build positive peer relationships, and develop research and communications skills.

Workforce Development

At NIA, we provide foundational training that enables all employees to perform at their highest potential, grow into their roles, and advance in their careers. In collaboration with our supervisors and directors, we offer valuable insights to support new staff. In addition, we conduct regular walk-throughs to identify areas for improvement and design personalized packages and training guides tailored to the needs of each program.
Comprehensive Training
Our Capacity Building and Education departments provide a robust calendar of trainings for staff. We work closely with youth programs to tailor trainings to each site’s needs and ensure that staff training requirements are up to date.
